Milwaukee shootings Thursday; teen wounded, building shot up

A 15-year-old was wounded by gunfire – and a building and car were shot up in separate shooting incidents on Thursday, July 18. 

73rd and Ruby

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, at about 1:30 p.m. a 15-year-old was shot near 73rd and Ruby. The teen was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

52nd and Meinecke

Around 1:40 p.m., police responded to a shots fired incident near 52nd and Meinecke. Officials said the suspect fired several shots striking a building and a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Shots fired near 52nd and Meinecke, Milwaukee

Milwaukee police are seeking an unknown shooter. 

Undetermined location

A 32-year-old was shot around 8:30 p.m. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a non-fatal shooting injury.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
