Milwaukee shootings Wednesday; 2 wounded, 1 arrested

Milwaukee police said two people were wounded in separate shootings on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Police said a 27-year-old victim was shot around 4:40 a.m. and taken to the hospital. What led to the shooting remains under investigation, and MPD has made no arrests.

15th and Highland

A 36-year-old was shot just before 8 p.m. Police said the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The shooting was the result of an argument, according to MPD. A 71-year-old was arrested, and charges will be referred to the district attorney's office.
