Prosecutors said students were not allowed to use their school-issued Chromebooks during the test. The teacher said all the students – except for Perrian Norwood – complied.
The teacher told police that Norwood got angry that he could not use a Chromebook, per the complaint, which led to an argument. Norwood then punched the teacher in the face and was taken to the school office. Police at the school couldn't find Norwood.
