Pop-up vaccine clinic at Milwaukee Hmong New Year celebration

As colder weather drives people indoors, health officials said it's important to protect against the spread of respiratory viruses like flu and COVID-19.

"We all want to spend this season enjoying time with loved ones, not recovering from illness," Dr. Ben Weston, the county's chief health policy advisor, said in a statement. "Vaccines are safe, effective, and available at these special events. This initiative is about making it easy for everyone to protect themselves and their families."
