Missing man found dead in Racine County pond

RACINE(AP) -- A man reported missing in Racine County was found dead in a pond on his property.

Racine County Sheriff's authorities say the man was reported missing about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, June 10th. 

The county's water rescue team was sent to the Town of Dover property and recovered the man's body about an hour later.

A statement from Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says alcohol appears to be a contributing
factor in the man's death.

The incident remains under investigation.
