MISSING: Police ask for your help in locating 13-year-old girl

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- The Waukesha Police Department is searching for 13-year-old Robin Cardoso. Her family says she has been missing since Tuesday night, April 15th.

Authorities say early indications suggest this was a pre-planned runaway. Foul play is not suspected. Officials believe Cardoso has been using social media to plan her runaway.

The girl made contact with friends through social media Friday afternoon, April 18th, and seemed to be in good spirits.

Cardoso is described as Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, about 5'1" tall weighing 120 pounds. She was possibly last seen wearing black skinny jeans, a pink and orange jacket and dark pink shoes.

Police are asking the community to assist in getting the teen home safely. Anyone with information is asked to call the Waukesha Police Department at 262-524-3833.
