Mitchell Interchange ramp closed Sunday due to semi rollover

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reported the southbound ramp in the Mitchell Interchange was closed Sunday evening, March 10th following a semi rollover.

A Sheriff's Office spokeswoman told FOX6 News a truck filled with 42,000 pounds of French fries rolled over, prompting the ramp shutdown.

Cars were being diverted off of the highway at 27th Street.

FOX6 News has learned a passenger in the semi suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital.
