MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- While areas to the north usually get the most snow -- Racine and Kenosha Counties were hit the hardest during Thursday's storm.

At this time, some roadways in the Mount Pleasant area remain lightly snow-covered. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution. WisDOT urges motorists to check road conditions before leaving home by calling 511- or visiting Wisconsin 511 online.

The City of Kenosha declared a snow emergency as of 7:00 p.m. Thursday. A full snow emergency means that no parking will be allowed on any city street until further notice.
