Mount Pleasant police investigate shots fired incident near 22nd & Mead
(MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) --Mount Pleasant police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Thursday, February 19th.
Police were called out to to the 2200 block of Mead Street around 8:85 p.m.
Upon arrival officers learned that approximately 4-5 shots had been fired. Two of the shots struck two different building; however, no victims were located. Officers also learned there was an argument outside involving a group of people just prior to the shots being heard.
A silver or gray colored four-door vehicle was then seen leaving North on Mead Street with several occupants. Several people were also seen running north on Mead Street just after the shots were fired. This incident remains under investigation.
