NEW BERLIN, Wis. - Firefighters on Monday, Aug. 28, responded to the scene of a house fire on Highland Drive near Racine Avenue in New Berlin.
Fire officials arrived to see heavy smoke and fire coming from a two-story residential home around 6 a.m.
Two adults, two children and two dogs safely escaped the burning house and were able to call 911.
