New video: Illinois police chase into Kenosha County, driver arrested
KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. - An armed carjacking in Illinois ends with a wild chase in Kenosha County.
But it wasn't just an effort from the ground, cops were in the air too.
This all happened after investigators say a 25-year-old man carjacked someone in Chicago.

Police from the windy city followed the stolen Toyota Camry by helicopter to Wisconsin.
A wanted man, tracked across state lines.
Chicago police kept an eye on a stolen Toyota Camry from above by helicopter.
Investigators say it was taken in a strong-armed robbery in Chicago in May.
Authorities say 25-year-old Tyrone Patterson, Jr. was behind the wheel.

Law enforcement alerted the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office as they got close to Wisconsin.
The car made a stop at a gas station just south of the border as law enforcement approached.
It speeds away, straight towards Kenosha County Sheriff's deputies.
Deputies threw stop sticks and the chase continued on the ground.

The car went through the grass and back onto the road.
Deputies chased after the man as he ran.

Patterson was eventually arrested, bringing a multi-state chase to an end.
Patterson has been charged with multiple felonies, including fleeing and recklessly endangering safety.
He has pleaded not guilty, and is being held on a more than $50,000 bond.
