"Not a cool move:" Boston socked with snow this winter; driver peeved to find car parked in spot he shoveled out
BOSTON (WITI) — Boston has seen its snowiest February on record -- and one Boston resident says his rights were violated when another car parked in the spot he had spent hours shoveling for his own use.
According to Boston.com, the man got peeved when another driver left a vehicle, which had New York plates, in the spot.
His response? Blanketing the snow back over the offending car.
A Craigslist post told the driver’s story last week, though according to Boston.com the post has since been deleted. But a screen grab of it before its removal has gone viral.
WARNING: There is some strong language in the Craigslist post you'll see just below.
The man from the Craiglist post, for fear of retribution, insisted anonymity to Boston.com. He told the site he had placed an old bookshelf in the spot so as to save it.
“I’ve lived in Boston for years and I’m from New England. This was just not a cool move. I’m getting home at midnight and I had nowhere to park," the driver told Boston.com.
