Oak Creek Fire Department battles semi trailer fire near 20th and Ryan Road

OAK CREEK (WITI) -- Oak Creek firefighters battled a semi trailer fire on West Ryan Road (Highway 100,)  and 20th Street in Oak Creek Saturday morning.

Authorities say there was a brake and tire issue with the semi truck.

The Oak Creek Fire Department posted pictures of the trailer damage on their Facebook page after the fire was extinguished.



The contents of the semi trailer look to be some sort of canned beverage, but it is not confirmed what was actually inside.

As of 4 p.m., crews are still on the scene.
