Oconomowoc man arrested for his fifth driving drunk offense
MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a five-time repeat drunk driver from Oconomowoc early Wednesday morning. This after a deputy tracked the suspect's vehicle speed at 97 m.p.h. in a posted 55 m.p.h. zone.
48-year-old Kenneth Bischof was pulled over on southbound I-894 around 1:30 a.m. He showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol level was .14 - almost twice the legal limit.
Bischof’s prior OWI arrests occurred in Ohio and Michigan in August 1992, November 1997, March 2001 and July 2003. He was issued a speeding citation and conveyed to the County Correctional Facility-Central (CCF-C) on the felony OWI-5th offense.
If convicted, Bischof faces up to six years in prison.
This was the 227th repeat drunk driving offender arrested in Milwaukee County in the last thirteen months.
