OCONOMOWOC, Wis. - An Oconomowoc train accident injured one person on Friday afternoon, Nov. 22.
Surveillance video showed the moments that led up to the crash near Main and Summit. Police said the car was crossing Summit Avenue on Main Street just before 1 p.m. when it crossed in front of the path of a Canadian-Pacific freight train.

Officers said the driver of the car was extricated and taken to a trauma center. The extent of that person's injuries are unclear.
"It's just kind of crazy," said Crystal Rossey, who was near the tracks when it happened. "Jaws of life were tearing off the doors."

Police said two other cars were damaged as a result of the crash, but no one inside either of those cars was injured. No one on the train was hurt.
"You just hope for the best. You don't want to see anyone hurt," Rossey said.
Oconomowoc police are still investigating the cause of the crash and what led up to it. Western Lakes Fire District, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Police Service assisted at the scene.
