Off-road accident: Woman killed in motorcycle crash

RACINE (WITI) --Racine County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday, May 11th in the Village of Caledonia.

According to officials, the accident involved a single, off-road-style motorcycle.

At the time of the crash, the motorcycle was being operated in an off-road environment.

The operator, a 21-year-old female, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Following the crash, she was transported to Wheaton Franciscan Racine, where she was later pronounced dead.

At this time, police say they do not believe alcohol was a factor.

The incident remains under investigation. No names are being released as this is an ongoing investigation.
