Officials: Cargo plane made emergency landing at General Mitchell Airport
MILWAUKEE -- A private plane made an emergency landing at General Mitchell International Airport on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
According to airport officials, the small cargo plane had a gear issue and had to make an emergency landing near the 128th Air Refueling Wing. Per standard procedure, the airport was briefly closed and has since reopened.
Two people were on board the plane. There were no reports of serious injuries.
