Officials: Dodge County barn fire leads to death of livestock

DODGE COUNTY -- Firefighters in Dodge County battled a barn fire in the Town of Herman late Saturday, January 9th.

First responders arrived on the scene just after 10 p.m. and the barn was fully engulfed.

Officials with the Iron Ridge Fire Department confirm there were no injuries in this fire, however, nine cows and one calf died as a result of smoke inhalation.

The Iron Ridge FD is handling the origin and cause investigation.
