KENOSHA -- Officials have identified a body found Friday, July 20th floating in the water in Eichelman Park as that of Craig Hoffman.
Officials say an autopsy was performed on Saturday, July 21st. The Kenosha County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the cause of death to be asphyxia due to drowning in Lake Michigan.
Someone spotted Hoffman's body floating about 50 yards from the shore and called for help. Police say Hoffman was swimming with a friend when he got in trouble.
Toxicology results are pending.
