Officials investigating strong armed robbery near UWM campus

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Officials are reporting a robbery that occurred on Monday, April 8th near the UW-Milwaukee campus.

Officials say a strong armed robbery occurred around 9:00 p.m. near the 3200 block of N. Cramer Street.

A UWM student reportedly encountered three suspects who punched him several times, knocked him down and took money.

After taking the money, the suspects reportedly fled on foot, southbound on Cramer Street.

The suspects are described as: two black males, 18-20 years old, 6'2" tall, wearing a baseball cap -- and one black male, 18-20 years old, 6'4" tall, wearing a hoodie.
