One dead, one injured following head-on collision in New Berlin

NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- A 46-year-old New Berlin man is dead and 44-year-old West Allis woman sustained severe injuries following a head-on collision that occurred  in the 13700 block of West Beloit Road Tuesday evening, December 24th.

According to officials, the initial investigation indicates the New Berlin man was traveling westbound on Beloit Road in a Kia SUV when he crossed over the center line -- colliding head-on with an eastbound Buick SUV operated by the West Allis woman.

There were no other occupants in either vehicle other than the drivers.

The accident is currently under investigation
