One lane closed on I-43 SB near Keefe for an hour after semi loses tire

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials say traffic was slowed on I-43 southbound at Keefe Avenue on Thursday evening, December 11th after a semi lost a tire.

No one was injured.

Sheriff's officials had to close one lane to clear the tire tread that was spread along the freeway.

The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m., and the scene was cleared just after 7:30 p.m.
