One man critically hurt after collision between SUV, semi

DODGE CO. -- A 21-year-old man was critically hurt early Thursday morning, October 11th in a collision between an SUV and a semi.

The wreck happened around 4:30 a.m. in the Town of Oak Grove at the intersection of County Highway A and County Highway W.

Investigators say the 21-year-old man in the SUV failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn onto County Highway W. The SUV was struck by a northbound semi.

The driver of the car, identified as Austin Tepetlanco, had to be cut from the SUV. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Live. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
