One person dead following traffic accident at 76th and Good Hope

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A fatal accident that occurred at 7600 W. Good Hope Road has left one person dead.

The accident happened at approximately 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 4th.

The victim was a 66-year-old passenger from Milwaukee who was riding in a vehicle southbound on N. 76th Street when another car failed to stop for a red light traveling on Good Hope Road and were struck.

Authorities say the victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Both drivers remained on scene.

Police say drugs or alcohol were not a factor in this accident at this time.

The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
