Over 100 DPW trucks hit the roads to tackle snowy conditions

MILWAUKEE -- The Department of Public Works (DPW) say they are prepared for this snowfall.

According to the DPW, they have completed salting city side streets as of 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Plows blades have been mounted on 102 salt trucks and have been re-deployed to address the main streets.

At 10:00 p.m., 16 private contractor salt trucks with plows will report for duty -- and DPW will "roll over" to a second shift of salt truck/plow drivers at midnight.
