Gravel truck overturns in East Troy
A gravel truck overturned in East Troy on Wednesday morning, June 2.
WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. - The ramp from Highway 120 to northbound I-43 in Walworth County was closed Wednesday morning, June 2 due to an overturned dump truck.
The wreck happened shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday. The initial investigation shows the driver appeared to have been going too fast for making the right turn from northbound Highway 120 to the northbound on-ramp to I-43.
During the turn, officials say the load of sand in the truck shifted. The truck rolled over, spilling sand onto the roadway.

In addition to the sand, some oil leaked from the overturned truck.

The driver of the truck suffered a cut to his head. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The ramp reopened to traffic just before noon.
