Paul Ryan preps for his moment at the RNC in Tampa
TAMPA -- Congressman Paul Ryan is about to make the speech of his life. The vice presidential candidate is the headliner at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, August 29th.
Ryan got an opportunity to walk through his presentation he'll make before the RNC and the nation.
The substance will have to wait for the speech at the RNC. But it is expected to deliver a sharp critique of President Obama's economic and fiscal policies. He'll also push a new vision for the country -- one that reduces debt by decreasing spending on several federal programs and overhauling Medicare.
Ryan looked relaxed on stage with his wife and three children. Earlier on Wednesday, Janna Ryan hosted a breakfast meeting and spoke briefly.
"Our families, our children, our future. That's what this race is all about," said Janna Ryan.
