Pinned under truck: Man dies in rural Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY (WITI) -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials say a 46-year-old Neosho man was killed early Tuesday morning, May 27th after he became trapped under a vehicle.

Just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the Dodge County Central Communications received a 911 call indicating a truck had overturned in rural Neosho -- and the family could not locate the 46-year-old Neosho man who was driving the truck.

The man was located pinned underneath the large truck.

The man was able to be freed -- and officials began emergency medical services, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge County Medical Examiners Office along with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is currently still investigating this incident.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family.
