2 survive plane crash near Chattanooga airport; FAA investigating
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Authorities in Tennessee said two people were "very lucky" to survive a plane crash near the Chattanooga airport on November 19.
First responders arrived on the scene and found one person outside the plane.
Firefighters extricated the second person.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with minor injures.
According to local news outlets, the plane's engine went out and down half a mile from the airport runway.
Authorities said the pilot was able to avoid traffic when crashing. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
