Police: 19-year-old man killed, 16-year-old boy seriously injured in shooting during house party

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say two people were shot at a house party in the 2100 block of S. 20th Street early Sunday morning, June 22nd.

It happened around 1:50 a.m.

Police say a 19-year-old man was killed and a 16-year-old boy was seriously injured, but is expected to survive.

The 19-year-old man has been identified as Kwata Shields.

Police are still conducting witness interviews to develop suspects and determine the evens that led to the shooting.
