Police: 2 skateboarders, age 12, struck by separate vehicles near 54th and Center
MILWAUKEE -- Two 12-year-olds riding skateboards were struck by separate vehicles on Monday night, May 25 near 54th Street and Center Street.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m.
Police said the initial skateboarder "made a sudden movement into to traffic," and was struck by a vehicle -- suffering injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver, a 27-year-old woman, was cited for not having a license.
Meanwhile, police said another 12-year-old "also made a sudden movement into traffic," and was struck by a different vehicle -- suffering injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver of that vehicle was not cited.
