Police: 24-year-old man shot, injured during armed robbery near 19th & Keefe

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night, October 18th.

It happened near 19th and Keefe shortly before 9:30 p.m.

A 24-year-old man told police he was the victim of an armed robbery. During the robbery the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene.

The victim was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department. He was eventually conveyed to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury.

MPD continues to search for a suspect.
