Police: 31-year-old man shot, injured after he grabbed suspect's weapon during robbery

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening, June 30th.

It happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of W. Hadley.

Police say a 31-year-old Milwaukee man was shot as he grabbed for the suspect's weapon during a street robbery.

The victim transported himself to the hospital where he was treated.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
