Police: 7 taken into custody following police pursuit involving stolen vehicle

MILWAUKEE -- Seven people were taken into custody Tuesday morning, Feb. 6 following a police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle.

According to police, the pursuit began near 3rd Street and Edgerton Avenue after officers spotted a stolen Chevy Impala.

The pursuit ended around 2:45 a.m. near Edgerton and Howell. Seven people were taken into custody.

Police say the Chevy Impala was stolen as part of a large-scale theft from a Hertz lot in Milwaukee. Police believe the theft happened in late January.
