MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police officials arrested a 33-year-old man with five prior OWI convictions for his sixth OWI after a pursuit Tuesday evening, June 5th.

Police say the man led officers on a pursuit from Milwaukee to Racine County just after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

Police say the man's SUV struck a car near W. Layton Ave. and S. Howell Ave. and fled the scene.

Police officials pursued the SUV which traveled into Caledonia, where Racine police officials assisted in the traffic stop.

The man was arrested for duty upon striking (hit and run) of an occupied motor vehicle while intoxicated, fleeing police and resisting an officer.
