Police called out to Longfellow Elementary in Sheboygan after BB gun found in student's backpack

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police on Monday, October 19th responded to Longfellow Elementary School after a BB gun was found in a student's backpack.

Police were called out to the school on Kentucky Avenue for a report of property found in a nine-year-old student's backpack. The item was determined to be a BB gun.

Officials with the Sheboygan Area School District and police are investigating.

Meanwhile, police say school operations are proceeding as usual.
