Police called to 3 shootings in just over 2 hours Sunday night; 1 fatal
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police officers were called out to three separate shootings in just over two hours Sunday night, May 24 -- and one was fatal.
The first happened around 8:30 p.m. near 1st Street and Concordia Avenue. A 35-year-old man was hurt.
Police said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Around 10:40 p.m., police were called to 30th Street and Walnut Street, where a woman suffered a gunshot wound to her back that was not believed to be life-threatening.
Ten minutes later, around 10:50 p.m., officers were on scene near 42nd Place and Fiebrantz Avenue, where a male suffered a gunshot wound to his neck. The medical examiner confirmed for FOX6 News the victim died as a result of his injuries.
