MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department responded to five separate shootings that left six injured in a matter of hours Saturday, Feb. 27.
Two of the shootings happened at yet-to-be-determined locations. While one suspect is in custody for one of the incidents, suspects in the other four are sought by police.
13th and Concordia
Shortly after 8 a.m., a group of people was outside when multiple suspects fired shots, striking the victims.
Two Milwaukee men -- ages 50 and 39 -- were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Unspecified location
A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and walked to a hospital for treatment around 8:30 a.m. Police said his injuries were non-life-threatening.
The location of the shooting, and the circumstance that led to it, are under investigation.
28th and Ruby
Just after 10 a.m., a 30-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the victim is in stable condition.
Unspecified location
A 40-year-old Milwaukee was shot around 10:15 a.m. Police said he walked to the hospital with serious injuries but is in stable condition.
The location of the shooting, and what led to it, remain under investigation.
Locust and Holton
Around 6:15 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was shot and rushed to the hospital. She is expected to survive.
Police arrested a 28-year-old woman in connection to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
