Police investigate after two shot, injured near Hope & 41st

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Thursday evening, May 16th near W. Hope Avenue and 41st Street.

According to police, two males, one 19 and one 18, appeared at St. Joe's hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds just after 5:00 p.m.

One suffered a wound to the right hand, the other to the right leg.

Preliminary investigation reveals the shooting occurred in the 4200 block of North 41st Street at about 4:30 p.m.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Interviews of both victims are continuing.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
