Police investigate fatal shooting near 28th and Kilbourn

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office say a man in his 20s was killed in a shooting on Monday evening, February 3rd.

It happened near 28th and Kilbourn Ave.

Police say the victim in this case sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
