Police investigate homicide: 30-year-old man shot, killed near 29th & Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened near N. 29th and W. Burleigh just before 2:30 p.m. on May 3rd.

Police say 30-year-old Robert Echols  was shot in the street.  He was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

MPD continues to search for a known suspect.
