Police investigating after shots fired at off-duty Sheriff's deputy
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police officials are investigating after an off-duty Sheriff's deputy had shots fired at him on Saturday, May 18th.
Sheriff's officials say the off-duty Sheriff's deputy was backing out of his driveway in the 3200 block of W. Bobolink Ave. and observed two black males walking nearby.
Officials say one of the subjects pulled out a revolver and fired at the vehicle. The round struck and shattered the interior rear-view mirror.
The two subjects fled on foot.
Neither the deputy nor his passenger was injured.
Milwaukee police officers responded to the scene and MPD is conducting the investigation.
