Police investigating three weekend homicides

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three homicides that occurred over the weekend.

Police say 19-year-old Gregory Moorer and 36-year-old Yamar George were shot Saturday, August 11th just before 5:00 a.m.

Police say the shooting occurred during an argument at a house that was operating as an illegal unlicensed premises in the 3300 block of N. 37th St.  

Police have previously responded to numerous crimes that have occurred at this location.The investigation into what led to the shooting is ongoing.

Police say 44-year-old Rickie Frazier was shot in the 1500 block of N. 35th St. just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11th.

Police say what led to the shooting remains under investigation at this time.

A 53-year-old man was taken into custody, with charges pending.

Frazier was well-known to Milwaukee police, with more than 40 arrests on his criminal history – eight of them felonies.
