Police: Man armed with machete accused of robbing Subway store in Racine
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police say they're investigating an armed robbery of the Subway store on Spring Street in Racine, and they say the suspect was armed with a machete.
Police say it happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30th.
A male wearing dark clothing entered the store and demanded money from the register. Police say the man had a machete in his sleeves.
The man was able to obtain an unknown amount of money before fleeing the store.
No one was injured.
Police do not have the suspect in custody.
