Police: One person shot Thursday evening near Sherman and Capitol

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday evening, September 3rd.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. near Sherman Boulevard and Capitol Drive.

Police say one person was shot, and that victim is expected to survive.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No further details have yet been released.
