Police respond to armed robbery at "Sweet Shop" in Racine

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police were on the scene of an armed robbery that occurred at the "Sweet Shop" in Racine.

The call came in around 8:25 p.m. that there was an armed robbery at 1900 Mead Street.

Police say a shot was fired in the area of the store, but no one was hit.

Police are still working to determine whether the shot was fired in the air or at someone.

Police say they are seeking three suspects. No one is currently in custody.

No one was hurt in this incident.
