Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Hayek's Pharmacy
SHOREWOOD (WITI) -- Shorewood police are seeking the suspect responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at Hayek's Pharmacy on Friday morning, January 24th.
According to police, a suspect entered the store through the rear door, displayed a small revolver and demanded prescription drugs by way of a written note.
Police say the suspect also fired one round into the floor while waiting for employees to comply.
After the suspect obtained the prescription drugs, he fled out the rear door.
The suspect was described as a black male, 5'09' tall, average build. He was wearing a black ski mask, dark pants and shoes.
