Police: Speeding driver killed when vehicle struck tree near Hopkins and Chambers

MILWAUKEE -- A 38-year-old woman was killed in a crash near Hopkins Street and Chambers Street early Monday, June 1.

It happened around 3:30 a.m.

Police said the woman was driving at a high rate of speed when she lost control and struck a tree.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
