Police: Tri City National Bank branch inside Pick 'n Save store robbed by lone suspect

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Tri City National Bank branch located inside a Pick 'n Save store near S. 18th Street and National Avenue.

It happened on Tuesday, May 19th around 5:00 p.m.

Police say a man in his 30s wearing a disguise robbed the bank. It is unclear whether the man presented a note or a weapon during the robbery -- but this is not being treated as an armed robbery.

No one was hurt.

The suspect was able to get away with cash.

It is not believed the suspect has been taken into custody.

We're told this bank branch has been robbed multiple times in the last year-and-a-half.
