Police: Two in custody for shooting at Racine's Transit Center, victim in stable condition
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police said Thursday, January 22nd, two people are in custody in connection with a shooting at Racine's Corinne Reid Owens Transit Center Wednesday.
The suspects are 17 and 15, police say. They are charged with: attempted first degree intentional homicide, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of THC with intent to deliver.
The victim -- a 17-year-old is said to be in stable condition.
Racine police responded to the scene around noon, and located one victim.
The Racine Police Department Investigations Bureau is still interested in any witnesses that might have been at the transit center during this incident. Anyone with additional information about this crime are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at 262-635-7756.
